Extended Day Services (EDS) was designated by DISD to assist the working parent. It is not part of the regular school program. This program is at no cost to you and you will be recertified each 9 weeks. All parents will need to attend a mandatory online orientation August 18th @ 6:00 pm. Your child may no longer be eligible for the Extended Day Program for the 2025-2026 school year for the following reason(s):

Parent or Guardian Not working
We offer before and after school programs for working parents only. All information provided on the application is subject to verification. Falsifying or omitting any of the information may disqualify the applicant from receiving services. We have reason to believe that the parent is not working at this time.

Behavior Concerns
We understand that your child will mature socially and emotionally and that is one of our goals for the school year. However, consistent misbehavior or endangering other children will merit that your child is removed from the extended day services.

Multiple failures to pick up on time
We understand that unforeseen circumstances happen occasionally. Nonetheless, your child needs to be picked up on time daily.It is up to you to make the necessary arrangements so that your child is picked up before 5:30. Consistent late pick up will merit that your child is removed from the extended day program. If a student is not picked up on time and we cannot contact the parent/guardian, further measures will be taken.
Upon completion of the orientation, you child may begin
