Professional Biography

With over 20 years of experience in education, including 18 years in public schools. I’ve had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles throughout my career, including classroom teacher, instructional specialist, assistant principal, interim principal, and Dual Campus Partnership Manager. Each of these roles has allowed me to support students, teachers, and families in meaningful and lasting ways.

I  received my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Supervision from Lamar University, and I am deeply passionate about education, instructional coaching, and building strong, supportive school communities. My work is rooted in equity, excellence, and collaboration.

This will be my sixth year serving as a campus leader in the Sunny South, and I could not be more proud of the work that we have done with our families and community. It’s an honor to be part of a team that is committed to student growth, family engagement, and high-quality learning experiences for all children. Outside of school, I enjoy reading, listening to podcasts, walking, and spending time with my husband and 3 children.
