Overview

The Joseph J. Rhoads Learning Center is an open campus ( scholars DO NOT have to be zoned to our campus to register) specializes exclusively in early childhood education for Pre-K 3 and 4-year-old students, emphasizing STEAM, early literacy, language, mathematics, and social development to ensure readiness for kindergarten and subsequent educational stages. As a Title 1 prekindergarten campus within the Dallas Independent School District, we are located in South Dallas, forming part of the Lincoln High School Feeder pattern. Our Pre-K students transition to H.S Thompson STEAM Academy where they have the option to continue the district's two way dual language program. Joseph J. Rhoads Learning Center operates as a part of the Lincoln-Madison feeder pattern and offers a full-day program, from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (extended day), with regular school hours from 8:00 AM to 3:20 PM.
